Daniel Southren

Founder, Director of Admissions Consulting Services

Dr. Daniel Southren’s unique approach to admissions is built on a foundation of deep experience in multiple disciplines. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, he was inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society in his junior year while he pursued his majors in Biology, Anthropology, and Art History. Daniel continued to pursue his passions for jazz piano and creative non-fiction writing through courses on campus. He then moved to his home state of NY to pursue his MD and MBA at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and Columbia Business School. Clients consistently attribute Daniel’s success as a consultant to his ability to curate a storyline that highlights unique features of the application, a skill which he conceptualizes as the marriage of marketing, educational experiences, and professional goals.
